Sever the Albatross was formed in 2013 hailing from the town of Oneonta, New York. The band started out as a collaboration of ideas between Wyatt Ambrose and Benjamin Kuettel. Soon after, the two began jamming on the regular. The band later introduced Alex Van Deusen on vocals. The band released their debut EP "Detachment" on September 23, 2014 and are currently writing their full length album.
