Sever the Albatross was formed in 2013 hailing from the town of Oneonta, New York. The band started out as a collaboration of ideas between Wyatt Ambrose and Benjamin Kuettel. Soon after, the two began jamming on the regular. The band later introduced Alex Van Deusen on vocals.
